In-store Sales App

GOAL
Liverpool is a giant retail chain in Mexico. At more than hundred stores, sales representatives take care of thousands of customers everyday. Some customers need support with payment plans, some with gift-registries, and many more who need a personalized budget for future shopping. This shopping behavior being heavily dependent on sales-representatives, and a promotion season around the corner, Liverpool's goal was to optimize sales during peak periods.
VISION
Liverpool’s existing iPad app had limited functionality and lacked the consideration of an in-store experience. That was our opportunity! We conducted research, analyzed existing app, and gathered requirements around some of the complex tasks that sales representatives face. We envisioned an experience that would not only make it easy for the sales people but also build a better relationship between the customers and the representatives. We focused our designs at the interactions between customers and sales representatives.
In a pair-design setup, I was one of the User Experience designers on the project. Other members of the team included Creative Director, Visual Designer, Managers, and a team of developers.
